Join us for a fun and vigorous work day at South Austin Neighborhood Park. We will be weed wrenching invasive understory plants. The park is located adjacent to W. Bouldin Creek in the Galindo Neighborhood at Cumberland and South 5th. It is also home to the South Austin Recreation Center and the South Austin Tennis Center. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes that cover your feet. Bring a water bottle and work gloves if you have them. Water to re-fill your water bottles will be provided. Austin Parks Foundation will provide snacks, trash bags and other tools and supplies. The registration table will be adjacent to the playscape located behind the Recreation Center.

This event was part of Austin Parks Foundation's Spring It's My Park Day, and was lead by Donna Coates (Parks Representative from GENA, who has adopted the park). [GivePulse event page]]
